Honours Boards

War hero’s honours board

To honour the brave fallen in the Great War and world war 2. All hand painted in 23.5crt gold leaf on a oak faced board sealed with 7 coats of varnish.

Haydock Park Racecourse

These are the beautiful 24ct Gold Leaf Honours Boards situated on this stunning stair case. I have been updating these honours boards on a monthly basis after every race since 2008.
It was a pleasure to work at such a stunning venue.

Kauto Star Honours Board

I signwrote this memorial board for ‘Kauto Star’ in gold enamel this time rather than Haydock Park Racecourses usual ‘gold leaf’ but still a nice little project.

It is to celebrate the life and incredible career of ‘Kauto Star’ one of the best and well know steeplechase horses of all time. In its career it won 18 major wins world wide and had a total earnings of £3,775,883. This board will be displayed in a designated suite at Haydock Park Racecourse now named after the great horse.

The legendary horse sadly lost its life in 2015 with a bullet to the head.
It was an honour to make this board to remember this great horse!

Barnton Cricket Club

This is the new hand painted board for Barnton Cricket Club, Barnton.

Cheshire Brush gets a mention on the ‘Golf Club Managers Association’ website under the ‘Honours Boards’ link due to our continued work with their associated members.

I also regularly complete the honours boards for Warrington Manonic Hall,
Heswall Golf Club, Alderley Edge Golf Club and West Houghton Golf Club where the fonts are roman or block lettering and usually in 24crt gold leaf.
